Rubin Larsen might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Friend. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rubin Larsen ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albert Copeland made a kick off. A collision led to De Kalb getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Hayden Sierra hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Lucien Becerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Rickey Acero notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of De Kalb's Manuel Friend. Manuel Friend was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mitch Vinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Copeland in the 66th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Lucien Becerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sajoka FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucien Becerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
