Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gregg Ferrell kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Waylon Albert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodore Lunsford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Storey in the 11th minute of play forced Woodbury Heights's goalkeeper Theodore Lunsford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregg Ferrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. James Woods fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merrill Rollins having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Gregg Ferrell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Woodbury Heights's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregg Ferrell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Merrill Rollins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When James Woods came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Woodbury Heights fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that James Woods couldn't finish the play. If Arturo Storey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Merrill Rollins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nelson Shultz in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute Stacy Cegielski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodore Lunsford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Stacy Cegielski made a precise shot to the right of Theodore Lunsford. Woodbury Heights's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stacy Cegielski made a kick off. Theodore Lunsford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stacy Cegielski in the 51st minute of the match. Benito Foster could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Theodore Lunsford made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as West Burlington's Benito Foster slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Theodore Lunsford. That made the score 0-2 after 56 minutes of play. James Woods hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Merrill Rollins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregg Ferrell in the 69th minute of play. After 73 played minutes West Burlington got a freekick which was hit by Benito Foster. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gregg Ferrell in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Merrill Rollins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Theodore Lunsford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stacy Cegielski, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. A collision led to Woodbury Heights getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. George Friend hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, DeAndre Lockett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 minutes of play, West Burlington's Benito Foster made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Theodore Lunsford was left in no man's land by his defense there! Waylon Albert kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Woodbury Heights supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching West Burlington's performance. The match ended with a win for West Burlington.
