Spectators: 7675 (Terracing: 5757, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lance Bergstrom took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tristan Pittman in the 5th minute of play forced West Burlington's goalkeeper Merrill Rollins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 minutes of play, Canadian's Lance Bergstrom made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Merrill Rollins was left in no man's land by his defense there! Canadian's Dwight Nunn got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Lance Bergstrom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Merrill Rollins was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Lance Bergstrom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canadian's supporters rose to their feet, but Lance Bergstrom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Merrill Rollins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Foster struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Earl Godfrey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Burlington. In the 23rd minute, Canadian's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benito Foster fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Stacy Cegielski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Earl Godfrey having to interfere. Dwight Nunn kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Stacy Cegielski struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Earl Godfrey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Burlington. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Stacy Cegielski made the kick off in the second half. Earl Godfrey came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by West Burlington's Benito Foster. But to his dismay, Benito Foster quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 58th minute, Lance Bergstrom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute, Stacy Cegielski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Earl Godfrey was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Earl Godfrey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stacy Cegielski, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After some careless play in the Canadian defense, Stacy Cegielski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Earl Godfrey. The Canadian fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Earl Godfrey should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute, Benito Foster made a precise shot to the right of Earl Godfrey. Canadian's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. The supporters of Canadian booed when West Burlington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominic Hoffman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, West Burlington's goal looked a bit too open when Lance Bergstrom came free, but Merrill Rollins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stacy Cegielski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Earl Godfrey having to make a save. Lance Bergstrom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Merrill Rollins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Canadian's Lance Bergstrom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Merrill Rollins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. West Burlington's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
