Lance Bergstrom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lance Bergstrom struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Manuel Friend didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canadian. After having played for 88 minutes, Tristan Pittman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canadian's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tristan Pittman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tristan Pittman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The De Kalb players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
