Kyle Montano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Farrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind West Valley City FC's goalkeeper Josh Elkins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 23 played minutes Carl Wilkes rounded West Valley City FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. In the 39th minute, Carl Wilkes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casper Hager got free with Josh Elkins in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the match, Real Madrid FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Farrell came free, but Kyle Montano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

61 minutes into the game, one of West Valley City FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Real Madrid FC a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by German Hamilton, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of West Valley City FC's Josh Elkins. 3-1. If Carl Wilkes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sergio Farrell in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kyle Montano saved Real Madrid FC from getting behind. 72 minutes into the match, Sergio Farrell dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kyle Montano, 3-2. Kyle Montano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Farrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kyle Montano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Farrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. A collision led to Real Madrid FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Clint Charles hit a great ball. Mark Gauthier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kyle Montano stood somewhat misplaced when Mark Gauthier came free in front of goal and shot 3-3 to the left of him in the 97 minute. The West Valley City FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Real Madrid FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
