Johns Creek Cobra FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Kern was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 43 minutes into the game, Graig Mims recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kirk Hearn. Graig Mims showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Devin Johnston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Kern in the 46th minute of the match. Tad Platt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Devin Johnston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Graig Mims made the kick off in the second half. Tad Platt struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. With his leg Devin Johnston managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Samson AFC's Rafael Kern fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 91 minutes into the match, Samson AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Graig Mims came free, but Kirk Hearn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Kern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Devin Johnston having to interfere.
