Shaw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Blaine Goldsmith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vance Longoria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joshua Brower in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joshua Brower in the 13th minute of play forced Messibeast's goalkeeper Vance Longoria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. J.P. Shaw struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Blaine Goldsmith didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Messibeast. After 16 played minutes Forever FC got a freekick which was hit by Miles Bruce. Darin Lacy was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The nice shot from Russ Perry in the 19thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Blaine Goldsmith had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Blaine Goldsmith made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Russ Perry sent off a good shot on target. If J.P. Shaw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Russ Perry got free with Blaine Goldsmith in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes in the game, J.P. Shaw fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Blaine Goldsmith having to interfere. Russ Perry's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Blaine Goldsmith firmly grabbed it by the left post. Corey McGowan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Russ Perry in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blaine Goldsmith prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Messibeast's J.P. Shaw got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Forever FC booed when Messibeast was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryan Gonzales didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Messibeast's goalkeeper Vance Longoria, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Corey McGowan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vance Longoria. Messibeast's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Corey McGowan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a rather tough play, Forever FC's Ronny Bates got a free kick in the 68th minute. Blaine Goldsmith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from J.P. Shaw in the 70th minute of the match. Blaine Goldsmith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from J.P. Shaw, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Joshua Brower sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Russ Perry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Forever FC's zone, J.P. Shaw stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blaine Goldsmith came out of the goal and J.P. Shaw tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Messibeast's Russ Perry got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Forever FC's Quentin Christensen got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joshua Brower struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Vance Longoria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forever FC. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Forever FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
