Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Westbrook FC's zone, Julio Bustamante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Barnes came out of the goal and Julio Bustamante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Barnes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julio Bustamante's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. The supporters of Westbrook FC booed when Lopezville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Bustamante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeffrey Goldberg in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keith Plummer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute, Jeffrey Goldberg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Jeffrey Goldberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Edgardo Hadley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Bustamante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. David Barnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Barnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Bustamante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alec Newby came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Lopezville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alec Newby couldn't finish the play. If Edgardo Hadley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Lopezville's Edgardo Hadley got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeffrey Goldberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edgardo Hadley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Barnes having to interfere. Sergio Arellano charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergio Arellano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Westbrook FC's David Barnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alec Newby in the 56th minute of play. Jeffrey Goldberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keith Plummer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. When Garry Bellamy came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Westbrook FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garry Bellamy couldn't finish the play. Keith Plummer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeffrey Goldberg in the 74th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jeffrey Goldberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keith Plummer was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Julio Bustamante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but David Barnes made a huge save. In the 87th minute Jeffrey Goldberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keith Plummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Val Amos charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Val Amos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Val Amos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Westbrook FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
