Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Cesar Morrison made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the match, Westbrook FC's goalkeeper David Barnes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Seth Rader. Garry Bellamy struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Kip Wyatt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Westbrook FC. Seth Rader who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of David Barnes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. David Barnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Morrison in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Cesar Morrison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Barnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesar Morrison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. David Barnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cesar Morrison fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SLC FC's protests and gave Cesar Morrison a yellow card for diving instead. Cesar Morrison hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Jeffrey Goldberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Aviles's late challenge caught a Westbrook FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Aviles helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 played minutes SLC FC got a freekick which was hit by Julio Aviles. After a defensive mix-up in Westbrook FC's zone, Seth Rader stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Barnes came out of the goal and Seth Rader tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Seth Rader had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeffrey Goldberg was the one to do the kick off. Wilson Buddle hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Seth Rader sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Barnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Morrison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kip Wyatt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeffrey Goldberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Seth Rader received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. David Barnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Wilson Buddle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Westbrook FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SLC FC the free kick. After 78 played minutes Westbrook FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Buddle. In the 79th match minute, SLC FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Aviles to maneuver through the defense. Jeffrey Goldberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Westbrook FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing SLC FC to leave the ground with a draw.
