Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cesar Morrison started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Rafael Kern got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Samson AFC's zone, Cesar Morrison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kirk Hearn came out of the goal and Cesar Morrison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tad Platt in the 10th minute of play forced SLC FC's goalkeeper Kip Wyatt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Rafael Kern made a precise shot to the right of Kip Wyatt. SLC FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Kirk Hearn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seth Rader in the 18th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of SLC FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Samson AFC:s goal. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Samson AFC. Anson Holloway stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kip Wyatt. 2-0. Rafael Kern struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Kip Wyatt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samson AFC. After a rather tough play, SLC FC's Rolando Priest got a free kick in the 31st minute. Kip Wyatt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tad Platt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kip Wyatt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Kern in the 35th minute. Seth Rader charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Seth Rader the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Samson AFC booed when SLC FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seth Rader didn't get a good kick on the ball. SLC FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tad Platt 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. 43 minutes into the match, Tad Platt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kip Wyatt, 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tad Platt to make the kick off. Tad Platt succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. Rafael Kern took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kip Wyatt. Kip Wyatt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Cesar Morrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirk Hearn having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Cesar Morrison recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kirk Hearn. Cesar Morrison showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-1. 68 minutes into the game, Samson AFC's Rafael Kern nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kip Wyatt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. If Rafael Kern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kip Wyatt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tad Platt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sal Clayton hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, SLC FC's Leonardo Hare got a free kick in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that Samson AFC were the better team. Samson AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
