After a defensive mix-up in Real Madrid FC's zone, Jeffrey Goldberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kyle Montano came out of the goal and Jeffrey Goldberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clint Charles kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Casper Hager recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute, Garry Bellamy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Garry Bellamy charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Garry Bellamy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. David Barnes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Casper Hager went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The throw-in from Marcus Larkin in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Westbrook FC's Garry Bellamy. Westbrook FC's Jeffrey Goldberg got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

52 minutes into the match, Westbrook FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Wilkes came free, but David Barnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jeffrey Goldberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kyle Montano was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Westbrook FC's Tom Silver got a free kick in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Westbrook FC's goalkeeper David Barnes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by German Hamilton. The supporters of Westbrook FC booed when Real Madrid FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clint Charles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casper Hager received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. David Barnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Westbrook FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
