Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Messibeast's goalkeeper Vance Longoria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Kern. Kirk Hearn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from J.P. Shaw in the 8th minute of the match. A collision led to Messibeast getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Roland Aaron hit a great ball. A hard shot by Anson Holloway from long distance, 15 minutes into the match, got Vance Longoria's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The supporters of Samson AFC booed when Messibeast was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Blount didn't get a good kick on the ball. If J.P. Shaw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Messibeast getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Travis Whitaker hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Tad Platt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafael Kern kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 36thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Messibeast's keeper Vance Longoria was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tad Platt to make the kick off. Tad Platt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Vance Longoria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Kern in the 61st minute of play forced Messibeast's goalkeeper Vance Longoria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tad Platt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Rafael Kern's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vance Longoria was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Russ Perry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirk Hearn having to interfere. Vance Longoria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Kern in the 90th minute of play. There was no doubt that Samson AFC were the better team. Samson AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
