Tad Platt's late challenge caught a Forever FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tad Platt helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Forever FC booed when Samson AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tad Platt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samson AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Joshua Brower scored to the left of an out of position Kirk Hearn, making the score, 1-1. Shelton Grier kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Anson Holloway in the 41st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Blaine Goldsmith's left hand side. If Corey McGowan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joshua Brower was the one to do the kick off. Tad Platt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Blaine Goldsmith came out and tried to block the shot, but Tad Platt slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 51st minute. Blaine Goldsmith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tad Platt, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Forever FC's goalkeeper Blaine Goldsmith had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tad Platt. In the 64th minute, Forever FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rafael Kern fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Rafael Kern could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Blaine Goldsmith however easily saved by the left post. Rafael Kern's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Blaine Goldsmith skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rafael Kern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Blaine Goldsmith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samson AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Kern was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blaine Goldsmith breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Samson AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
