Dario Luther was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Trent Herman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cedric Culver in the 35th minute of play. The Wellston AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 45 minutes into the game, Rolf Coffman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosamond FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wellston AFC the free kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rickie Arroyo to make the kick off. Cedric Culver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Tad Hunt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Luther saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Rosamond FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marlin Rose to maneuver through the defense. Tad Hunt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute, Scotty Sheppard sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rosamond FC's Dario Luther didn't even have to move. If Tad Hunt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 minutes of play, Wellston AFC's Tad Hunt made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dario Luther was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 101 played minutes, Wellston AFC's Scotty Sheppard shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dario Luther came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wellston AFC reached it.
