Alfonzo Uhl started the match with the kick off. Tybee FC's Clark Gentry got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th minute, Jay Kirkpatrick reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rudolph McClain. The goal made the score 1-0. Clark Gentry hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Alfonzo Uhl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rico Li kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Clark Gentry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Rudolph McClain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Hartwell FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jay Kirkpatrick came free, but Rudolph McClain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hartwell FC's Rudolph McClain proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Hartwell FC from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute of the match, Clark Gentry got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rudolph McClain was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Freddy Tapia hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Clark Gentry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tybee FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clark Gentry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jay Kirkpatrick stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clark Gentry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rudolph McClain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 minutes, Ned Hicks mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tybee FC and the Hartwell FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elton Cho was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Conrad McClure fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hartwell FC's protests and gave Conrad McClure a yellow card for diving instead. 63 minutes into the game, one of Hartwell FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rudolph McClain went to the wrong direction when Jefferson Jones was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 67th minute, Clark Gentry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfonzo Uhl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clark Gentry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Rudolph McClain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tybee FC's Ned Hicks got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Ned Hicks off the ground. Clark Gentry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 played minutes Tybee FC got a freekick which was hit by Jay Kirkpatrick. Rico Lis short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Russell Coleman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alfonzo Uhl received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Russell Coleman came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfonzo Uhl slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 89th minute. A collision led to Hartwell FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Denis Leon hit a great ball. Hartwell FC's Rudolph McClain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clark Gentry in the 95th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rico Li got free with Russell Coleman in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hartwell FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
