German Suarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clark Gentry, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When Jose Holland came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Kickin Balls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Holland couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Isidro Connor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Russell Coleman was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. A collision led to Tybee FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Bo Pritchard hit a great ball. Russell Coleman made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Jose Holland sent off a good shot on target. Jefferson Jones kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Kickin Balls's Roscoe Lunsford tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ned Hicks charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ned Hicks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Isidro Connor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After some careless play in the Tybee FC defense, Jose Holland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Russell Coleman. The Tybee FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Russell Coleman should have stopped the shot. Jose Holland struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Russell Coleman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kickin Balls. German Suarez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clark Gentry went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Holland couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Clark Gentry ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. German Suarez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.
