Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mohammed Guillory took the kick off in the first half of the match. Arthur Stokes hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Guy Harrison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tad Hunt, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After having played for 8 minutes, Tad Hunt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wellston AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tad Hunt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Trent Herman made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Tod Crenshaw sent off a good shot on target. Dunsfold Interceptors FC's Guy Harrison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tad Hunt in the 13th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Dunsfold Interceptors FC's Tod Crenshaw sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Trent Herman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th match minute, Dunsfold Interceptors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tyson Larkin to maneuver through the defense. Tad Hunt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Alexander Lyons notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Dunsfold Interceptors FC's Guy Harrison. Guy Harrison was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Tod Crenshaw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mohammed Guillory fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trent Herman having to interfere. Trent Herman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tod Crenshaw in the 39th minute. Mohammed Guillory struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Trent Herman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dunsfold Interceptors FC. Tod Crenshaw's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Trent Herman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Tad Hunt made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Dunsfold Interceptors FC's Mohammed Guillory made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Trent Herman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tad Hunt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Harrison having to interfere. Tod Crenshaw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Trent Herman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trent Herman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohammed Guillory, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tad Hunt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tad Hunt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guy Harrison came out and tried to block the shot, but Tad Hunt slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 72nd minute. Alexander Lyons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Guy Harrison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Scotty Sheppard shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Dunsfold Interceptors FC's Guy Harrison to catch but Scotty Sheppard was lucky. It became 1-3 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. In the 84th minute Mohammed Guillory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trent Herman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Wellston AFC's zone, Mohammed Guillory stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trent Herman came out of the goal and Mohammed Guillory tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 89 played minutes Wellston AFC got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Cuevas. The supporters of Dunsfold Interceptors FC booed when Wellston AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Bass didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute Dunsfold Interceptors FC were awarded a corner. Robby Peoples went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Robby Peoples got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Trent Herman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Wellston AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Wellston AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
