After 26 played minutes flatos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Grossman. After 36 played minutes Pine Crest AFC got a freekick which was hit by Brad Bernard. 37 minutes into the match, flatos F.C.'s Jimmy Grossman broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a little luck, flatos F.C.'s Mario Toney got control of the ball when Vito Vang tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lloyd Hatcher to strike the kick off in the second half. The nice shot from Whitney Rowell in the 53rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Hector Navarro had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 57th minute of the match Claudio Flint sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mario Toney skillfully saved the ball. In the 59th minute, Pierre Ellison left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pine Crest AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Hector Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Whitney Rowell in the 65th minute. Hector Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lloyd Hatcher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
