After a rather tough play, Sumitami Global's Theodore Rosado got a free kick in the 11th minute. With a little luck, Pine Crest AFC's Hector Navarro got control of the ball when Josef Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Sumitami Global was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corey Beam to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sumitami Global's zone, Max Flood stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilford Gaston came out of the goal and Max Flood tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vito Vang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Wilford Gaston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sumitami Global's Theodore Rosado got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Vito Vang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pierre Ellison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilford Gaston having to interfere. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sumitami Global's goalkeeper Wilford Gaston, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre Ellison in the 34th minute of play forced Sumitami Global's goalkeeper Wilford Gaston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vito Vang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pierre Ellison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Vito Vang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pierre Ellison made a kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Sumitami Global's Josef Santos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hector Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Josef Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Navarro having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Pine Crest AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Lee to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tod McElroy in the 62nd minute of play forced Pine Crest AFC's goalkeeper Hector Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerard Suarez charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerard Suarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes Pine Crest AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gerard Suarez. Hector Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tod McElroy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pierre Ellison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 82nd minute, Pierre Ellison got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Theodore Rosado was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 85th match minute, Sumitami Global was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theodore Rosado to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Sumitami Global's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre Ellison came free, but Wilford Gaston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Josef Santos notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Pine Crest AFC's Hector Navarro. Hector Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pine Crest AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sumitami Global.
