Spectators: 7660 (Terracing: 5747, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Troy McHugh took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeremy Allison during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes Keokuk got a freekick which was hit by Jeremy Allison. Keokuk's Darryl Messer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lloyd Hatcher in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Jimmy Grossman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Keokuk's Troy McHugh in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye flatos F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 12 minutes, Troy McHugh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Keokuk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Troy McHugh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute Whitney Rowell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darryl Messer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Troy McHugh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Freddie Spangler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Toney read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Keokuk's zone, Whitney Rowell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darryl Messer came out of the goal and Whitney Rowell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. flatos F.C.'s Whitney Rowell got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Troy McHugh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Mario Toney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Troy McHugh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Toney having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lloyd Hatcher to strike the kick off in the second half. When Conrad McKinney fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored flatos F.C.'s protests and gave Conrad McKinney a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Keokuk a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kasey Velasco, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of flatos F.C.'s Mario Toney. 1-0. After 59 played minutes Keokuk got a freekick which was hit by Ralph Bragg. Whitney Rowell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Keokuk's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lloyd Hatcher fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Freddie Spangler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darryl Messer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lloyd Hatcher in the 95th minute of the match. Darryl Messer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lloyd Hatcher in the 97th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
