Hector Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wendell Kimbrough in the 12th minute of play. Ross Pryor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hector Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Wendell Kimbrough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute of the game, Asher Albright landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 17 minutes, Gerard Suarez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pine Crest AFC and the Rush NM players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pine Crest AFC's Gerard Suarez got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 21 minutes, Max Flood mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pine Crest AFC and the Rush NM players grew even worse after the yellow card. Max Flood kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute Vito Vang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lamar Crow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pierre Ellison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Lamar Crow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Pine Crest AFC's Hector Navarro got control of the ball when Ross Pryor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manuel Vasquez struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Hector Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rush NM. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ross Pryor made a kick off. Hector Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wendell Kimbrough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Pine Crest AFC's zone, Wendell Kimbrough stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Navarro came out of the goal and Wendell Kimbrough tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Pierre Ellison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pine Crest AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pierre Ellison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rush NM's Lamar Crow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre Ellison in the 75th minute of play. Vito Vangs short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Lamar Crow to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ross Pryor kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pine Crest AFC's zone, Lonnie Colby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Navarro came out of the goal and Lonnie Colby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the game, Rush NM's Ross Pryor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hector Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rush NM had played much better football throughout.
