A collision led to Sumitami Global getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Theodore Rosado hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Rudolf Reynolds showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tod McElroy, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Josef Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roda Soccer's Rudolf Reynolds played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Santos in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, Roda Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Bowden to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cobi Hoskins in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilford Gaston prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
