Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lloyd Hatcher kicked off to start the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Whitney Rowell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. flatos F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Whitney Rowell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 7 played minutes, Rush NM's Bradly Crow shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mario Toney came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rush NM reached it. After having played for 8 minutes, Ross Pryor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rush NM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ross Pryor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 10 minutes, Ross Pryor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rush NM and the flatos F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rush NM's Ross Pryor got a free kick in the 10th minute. Manuel Vasquez kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. A hard shot by Jimmy Grossman from long distance, 13 minutes into the match, got Lamar Crow's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wendell Kimbrough in the 16th minute of play forced flatos F.C.'s goalkeeper Mario Toney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Wendell Kimbrough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in flatos F.C.'s zone, Wendell Kimbrough stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Toney came out of the goal and Wendell Kimbrough tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mario Toney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ross Pryor in the 24th minute of play. Mario Toney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wendell Kimbrough in the 25th minute of the match. When Rush NM's Wendell Kimbrough in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye flatos F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Wendell Kimbrough might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mario Toney. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wendell Kimbrough ran back to his position shaking his head. 41 minutes into the match, flatos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wendell Kimbrough came free, but Mario Toney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. flatos F.C.'s Claudio Ryder shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 44th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lamar Crow but with some difficulty. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wendell Kimbrough made a kick off. Whitney Rowell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Lamar Crow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Toney made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Ross Pryor sent off a good shot on target. After 62 minutes, Karl Zimmer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the flatos F.C. and the Rush NM players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to flatos F.C. getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Karl Zimmer hit a great ball. When Rush NM's Wendell Kimbrough in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye flatos F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Lonnie Colby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Toney having to interfere. Mario Toney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wendell Kimbrough, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. If Ross Pryor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wendell Kimbrough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Mario Toney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. flatos F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rush NM for a fine match.
