With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christopher Cope prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Devin Sherrill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Stinson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dirk Agoos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pima FC's Christopher Cope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dirk Agoos in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Edgardo Rector left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Klova FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Pima FC's Anton Stinson got a free kick in the 19th minute. Dirk Agoos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christopher Cope having to interfere. With a little luck, Klova FC's Devin Sherrill got control of the ball when Oscar Solis tried to sneak it across the goal line. With 28 minutes on the clock, Elliot Pulliam commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Klova FC a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edgardo Rector, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pima FC's Christopher Cope. 0-2. Santos Ford's late challenge caught a Klova FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Pima FC's zone, Dirk Agoos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christopher Cope came out of the goal and Dirk Agoos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christopher Cope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Donahue, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Edgardo Rector made a precise shot to the right of Christopher Cope. Pima FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After the first half Klova FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Christopher Cope made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norbert Donahue in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Klova FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ned Hicks came free, but Devin Sherrill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pima FC's Junior Harman got a free kick in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Pima FC's goalkeeper Christopher Cope had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dirk Agoos. Edgardo Rector might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christopher Cope. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Rector ran back to his position shaking his head. If Dirk Agoos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Edgardo Rector took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Christopher Cope to make any attempt to save it. After 76 played minutes Pima FC got a freekick which was hit by Dustin Lozano. In the 78th minute, Edgardo Rector got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pima FC's zone, Dirk Agoos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christopher Cope came out of the goal and Dirk Agoos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christopher Cope didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dirk Agoos went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. In the 92nd minute, Dirk Agoos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Klova FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pima FC throughout the match.
