Tampa Bay's Reggie Wise played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamar Craven in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rufus Doty stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes The Legends got a freekick which was hit by Walton Hawkins. Rickey Coronado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rufus Doty showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 54 minute of play. Garrett Sutton hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When Rufus Tinsley came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the The Legends fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rufus Tinsley couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute, Rufus Doty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
