But to his dismay, Billy Livingston quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Phil Sutherland fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spring Hill FC's protests and gave Phil Sutherland a yellow card for diving instead. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Werner Galindo was the one to do the kick off. If Billy Livingston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Billy Livingston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeff Brantley having to interfere. Pacifica AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Spring Hill FC for a fine match.
