In the 66th minute, Anton Stinson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roosevelt Bingham was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 75 minutes into the match, Domenic Kemp dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christopher Cope, 2-4. 81 minutes into the match, Groveland's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Solis came free, but Roosevelt Bingham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Solis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roosevelt Bingham having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Pima FC's Anton Stinson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roosevelt Bingham made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. The audience was convinced that Anton Stinson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roosevelt Bingham was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. The Groveland supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Groveland would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
