Chris Salas made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Weldon Hightower sent off a good shot on target. Raymundo Wyatt struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Bell Gardens AFC's Lyle Landreth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doug Lane in the 31st minute of play. Lyle Landreth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lazaro Painter, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Chase McCall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lazaro Painter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyle Landreth having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chase McCall in the 44th minute of play forced Bell Gardens AFC's goalkeeper Lyle Landreth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jacob Dougherty fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bell Gardens AFC's protests and gave Jacob Dougherty a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Bell Gardens AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jacob Dougherty.

Lyle Landreth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lazaro Painter's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Jacob Dougherty was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Bell Gardens AFC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Jacob Dougherty hit a great ball. Lazaro Painter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Lyle Landreth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chase McCall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Lyle Landreth made a huge save. When the match was over NASAMS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bell Gardens AFC throughout the match.
