Renaldo Law's late challenge caught a Floral City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renaldo Law helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Floral City booed when Bell Gardens AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renaldo Law didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bell Gardens AFC's Lyle Landreth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcellus Cornett in the 3rd minute of play. If Weldon Hightower had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Weldon Hightower managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bell Gardens AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Weldon Hightower was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duane Boudreaux breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 9 minutes, Sebastian Davidson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bell Gardens AFC and the Floral City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bell Gardens AFC's Sebastian Davidson got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Floral City's Marcellus Cornett in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bell Gardens AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Marcellus Cornett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Lyle Landreth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Floral City got a freekick which was hit by Rolland Laws. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolland Laws during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Weldon Hightower managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bell Gardens AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Weldon Hightower was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Davidson hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes Bell Gardens AFC got a freekick which was hit by Weldon Hightower. Bell Gardens AFC's Raymundo Wyatt got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcellus Cornett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kristopher Edwards's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Lyle Landreth skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymundo Wyatt in the 38th minute of play forced Floral City's goalkeeper Duane Boudreaux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Raymundo Wyatt made the kick off in the second half. Tommie Zavala kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Marcellus Cornett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lyle Landreth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sebastian Davidson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 62 minutes had been played. Lyle Landreth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcellus Cornett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob Dougherty in the 92nd minute of play forced Floral City's goalkeeper Duane Boudreaux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Floral City had won after a very even match.
