Tim Suggs hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Kristopher Edwards could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Gary Petty made a huge save. Marshall Kimbrough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Floral City's Duane Boudreaux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Burt in the 14th minute of play. If Phillip Lentz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 28 minutes into the match, Marcellus Cornett dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gary Petty, 1-0. After having played for 34 minutes, Leonard Burt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Comunicaciones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonard Burt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Luis Bonilla notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Floral City's Duane Boudreaux. Duane Boudreaux was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Duane Boudreaux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Burt in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Marshall Kimbrough shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duane Boudreaux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Floral City's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Burt came free, but Duane Boudreaux reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marshall Kimbrough took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duane Boudreaux. Duane Boudreaux dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcellus Cornett made a kick off. Leonard Burt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Comunicaciones booed when Floral City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Weston Jacobson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Floral City's zone, Leonard Burt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duane Boudreaux came out of the goal and Leonard Burt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th match minute, Floral City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolland Laws to maneuver through the defense. Duane Boudreaux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marshall Kimbrough, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Comunicaciones's Leonard Burt got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Leonard Burt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duane Boudreaux was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. The supporters of Comunicaciones booed when Floral City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristopher Edwards didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Luis Bonilla fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Comunicaciones's protests and gave Luis Bonilla a yellow card for diving instead. Luis Bonilla kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Leonard Burt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Comunicaciones's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Burt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duane Boudreaux breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 80 minutes, Leonard Burt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Comunicaciones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonard Burt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonard Burt struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Duane Boudreaux didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Comunicaciones. After 83 played minutes Leonard Burt rounded Floral City's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. Leonard Burt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duane Boudreaux read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Marshall Kimbrough was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. Comunicaciones's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Leonard Burt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Duane Boudreaux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Comunicaciones played a much better game than Floral City and deserved their victory. The Floral City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
