Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Mitch Samuels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mike Conner, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Homer Walsh's late challenge caught a Mechanicville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Homer Walsh helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Windsor Hills FC got a freekick which was hit by Homer Walsh. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Conner in the 12th minute of play forced Mechanicville's goalkeeper Mitch Samuels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jospeh Connolly was a little too slow when Winston Matthews got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. Mike Conner kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Sheldon Benjamin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sheldon Benjamin to strike the kick off in the second half. Sean Morse received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mitch Samuels came out and tried to block the shot, but Sean Morse slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 53rd minute. Mike Conner succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 56th playminute. In the 66th minute Sheldon Benjamin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jospeh Connolly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Mechanicville's Mitch Samuels got control of the ball when Mike Conner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sheldon Benjamin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jospeh Connolly having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Clark Hess's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jospeh Connolly was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Mechanicville's Sheldon Benjamin got a free kick in the 86th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Windsor Hills FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
