Freddie Doe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duane Boudreaux having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolland Laws during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rolland Laws hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Reggie Person came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Floral City's Rolland Laws. But to his dismay, Rolland Laws quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leroy Aranda in the 13th minute of play forced River Plate Miami's goalkeeper Reggie Person to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reggie Person showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leroy Aranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Reggie Person showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolland Laws in the 17th minute of the match. Cody Davila kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Cody Davila hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Brent Farr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floral City's supporters rose to their feet, but Brent Farr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reggie Person breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, River Plate Miami's goal looked a bit too open when Leroy Aranda came free, but Reggie Person reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, River Plate Miami's goal looked a bit too open when Leroy Aranda came free, but Reggie Person reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, River Plate Miami's goal looked a bit too open when Marcellus Cornett came free, but Reggie Person reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duane Boudreaux made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Marquis Spaulding sent off a good shot on target. Marquis Spaulding recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reggie Person made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Young Gould in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Cody Davila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcellus Cornett took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reggie Person. Reggie Person dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 37th minute Kristopher Edwards shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reggie Person saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reggie Person showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Trent, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcellus Cornett to make the kick off. Reggie Person was a little too slow when Leroy Aranda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-3. River Plate Miami's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Leroy Aranda scored to the left of an out of position Reggie Person, making the score, 0-4. Reggie Person took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leroy Aranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 minutes, Muhsin Durualp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River Plate Miami and the Floral City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st match minute, River Plate Miami was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muhsin Durualp to maneuver through the defense. River Plate Miami's Reggie Person played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leroy Aranda in the 66th minute of play. Marquis Spaulding's late challenge caught a Floral City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marquis Spaulding helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Marquis Spaulding hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Leroy Aranda took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Reggie Person to make any attempt to save it. Reggie Person came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Floral City's Rolland Laws. But to his dismay, Rolland Laws quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. If Freddie Doe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cody Davila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Duane Boudreaux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marquis Spaulding scored 1-6 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Duane Boudreaux, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Duane Boudreaux came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by River Plate Miami's Freddie Doe. But to his dismay, Freddie Doe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. The Floral City players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
