If Freddie Doe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Groves in the 76th minute of play forced River Plate Miami's goalkeeper Reggie Person to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 played minutes River Plate Miami got a freekick which was hit by Marquis Spaulding. Marquis Spaulding fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sterling Redding having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Lea Hill FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Groves to maneuver through the defense. Sterling Redding was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reggie Person made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Molina in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded River Plate Miami left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lea Hill FC.
