Chance Douglas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jospeh Farr having to interfere. Carson Connolly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jospeh Connolly having to interfere. Carson Connolly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Windsor Hills FC's Chance Douglas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jospeh Farr narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jospeh Connolly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dana Wolf in the 21st minute of play. Windsor Hills FC's Mike Conner got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 24 minutes, Val Dickens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lions of Quenns and the Windsor Hills FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Val Dickens hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Mike Conner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jospeh Farr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Windsor Hills FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Dana Wolf scored to the left of an out of position Jospeh Connolly, making the score, 1-0. A collision led to Lions of Quenns getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Mickey Nicholas hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chance Douglas made a kick off. In the 54th minute Dana Wolf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jospeh Connolly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Dana Wolf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lions of Quenns's supporters rose to their feet, but Dana Wolf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jospeh Connolly breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Windsor Hills FC's Jospeh Connolly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dana Wolf in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Sean Morse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Windsor Hills FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lions of Quenns the free kick. After a rather tough play, Windsor Hills FC's Sean Morse got a free kick in the 70th minute. Jeremiah Foster's late challenge caught a Windsor Hills FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeremiah Foster helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Lions of Quenns getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jeremiah Foster hit a great ball. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lions of Quenns's goalkeeper Jospeh Farr, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Mike Conner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jospeh Farr. Lions of Quenns's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mike Conner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. If Mike Conner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Windsor Hills FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
