North Alaska FC's Yong Hopson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save North Alaska FC from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute Walter Novak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lyle Landreth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rocco Lord in the 29th minute of play forced Bell Gardens AFC's goalkeeper Lyle Landreth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yong Hopson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymundo Wyatt in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 64thth minute of the game Weldon Hightower who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but North Alaska FC's Yong Hopson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raymundo Wyatt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yong Hopson having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Renaldo Law sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and North Alaska FC's Yong Hopson didn't even have to move. Yong Hopson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymundo Wyatt in the 75th minute of play. If Rocco Lord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rocco Lord received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Lyle Landreth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Walter Novak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walter Novak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
