Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marshall Kimbrough started the match with the kick off. Gary Petty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Winston Matthews in the 3rd minute of play. Leonard Burt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Mitch Samuels when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Mechanicville's goal looked a bit too open when Marshall Kimbrough came free, but Mitch Samuels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gary Petty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sheldon Benjamin, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Winston Matthews kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 21stth minute of the game Winston Matthews who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Comunicaciones's Gary Petty was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Comunicaciones's Phillip Lentz got a free kick in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Mechanicville getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Kelly Walsh hit a great ball. After 29 played minutes Mechanicville got a freekick which was hit by Jeremy Kirby. In the 30th match minute, Comunicaciones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Bonilla to maneuver through the defense. After 31 played minutes, Mechanicville's Travis Gauthier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gary Petty came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mechanicville reached it. Marshall Kimbrough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Mitch Samuels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonard Burt scored 1-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mitch Samuels, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mitch Samuels made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Rashad Hutchins sent off a good shot on target. Mitch Samuels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marshall Kimbrough in the 42nd minute of play. Gary Petty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Winston Matthews in the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Winston Matthews to make the kick off. Mechanicville's Mitch Samuels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Burt in the 57th minute of play. Sheldon Benjamin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sheldon Benjamin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the game, Sheldon Benjamin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gary Petty. Sheldon Benjamin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 72 minutes into the match, Mechanicville's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Burt came free, but Mitch Samuels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mitch Samuels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Burt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Kristopher Grace hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 played minutes Comunicaciones got a freekick which was hit by Tim Suggs. Marshall Kimbrough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Mitch Samuels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mechanicville's zone, Leonard Burt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mitch Samuels came out of the goal and Leonard Burt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Winston Matthews received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gary Petty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Comunicaciones were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
