An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Novak in the 4th minute of play forced Floral City's goalkeeper Duane Boudreaux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Marcellus Cornett dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yong Hopson, 1-0. Marcellus Cornett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Yong Hopson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kristopher Edwards came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Floral City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristopher Edwards couldn't finish the play. Yong Hopson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcellus Cornett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Floral City's Duane Boudreaux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rocco Lord in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of North Alaska FC booed when Floral City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leroy Aranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duane Boudreaux stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rocco Lord's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Walter Novak kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Walter Novak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duane Boudreaux was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Kristopher Edwards received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Yong Hopson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Kristopher Edwards fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Yong Hopson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcellus Cornett in the 41st minute of play. Leroy Aranda's late challenge caught a North Alaska FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leroy Aranda helped the player get up and apologised. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcellus Cornett stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of North Alaska FC booed when Floral City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leroy Aranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rocco Lord came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Duane Boudreaux could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walter Novak in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duane Boudreaux saved Floral City from getting behind. Domenico Trent kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. North Alaska FC's Rocco Lord came free and shot a quick shot against goal 58 minutes in the game, fortunately Duane Boudreaux had problems saving as it came toward the left post. When %teams%'s Rocco Lord was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-1 just inside the left pole, 58 minutes into the game. Duane Boudreaux was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Walter Novak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duane Boudreaux having to interfere. When Kristopher Edwards came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Floral City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristopher Edwards couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the game, North Alaska FC's Walter Baca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Duane Boudreaux made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Duane Boudreaux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Baca, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Rocco Lord received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Duane Boudreaux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brent Farr kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Duane Boudreaux took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Novak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rocco Lord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Floral City's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Novak came free, but Duane Boudreaux reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
