When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Ken Cobb took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Mitch Samuels to make any attempt to save it. In the 13th minute Winston Matthews shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Kendrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute Sheldon Benjamin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Kendrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ken Cobb kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Winston Matthews shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Kendrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Mechanicville's goal looked a bit too open when Ken Cobb came free, but Mitch Samuels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Kendrick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sheldon Benjamin in the 34th minute of the match. East Dubuque's Claudio Kendrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Winston Matthews in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to Mechanicville getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Donny Ladner hit a great ball. Carlo Sapp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Mitch Samuels when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The wind increased when Winston Matthews made the kick off in the second half. The goalkeeper, Claudio Kendrick, was totally fooled by Mechanicville's Kelly Walsh, who 61 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Mechanicville's Mitch Samuels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryan Underwood in the 70th minute of play. East Dubuque's Claudio Kendrick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save East Dubuque from getting a goal against them. After 77 played minutes Mechanicville got a freekick which was hit by Winston Matthews. Carlo Sapp struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Mitch Samuels didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for East Dubuque. Mitch Samuels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Sapp, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. East Dubuque's Claudio Kendrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sheldon Benjamin in the 82nd minute of play. With a little luck, East Dubuque's Claudio Kendrick got control of the ball when Winston Matthews tried to sneak it across the goal line. Clark Hess hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Carlo Sapp notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Mechanicville's Mitch Samuels. Mitch Samuels was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carlo Sapp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With 94 minutes on the clock, Clark Hess commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Mechanicville's Clark Hess got a free kick in the 95th minute. Alfonzo Koehler took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mitch Samuels. Mechanicville's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Chance Woodward fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mechanicville's protests and gave Chance Woodward a yellow card for diving instead. Chance Woodward hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Alfonzo Koehler, 100 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Mechanicville's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
