Gilbert Dobson made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 8thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Brendon Solis would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joesph Sanchez in the 10th minute of play forced St Paul Trojans's goalkeeper Brendon Solis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jack Ritter in the 12th minute of play forced Sawmills's goalkeeper Nathan Groves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nathan Groves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Ritter in the 15th minute of the match. Joesph Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brendon Solis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joesph Sanchez in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, St Paul Trojans's Shelton Macias got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When Sawmills's Joesph Sanchez in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye St Paul Trojans's goalie prevented a goal. If Don Nickerson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jack Ritter in the 32nd minute of play forced Sawmills's goalkeeper Nathan Groves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jack Ritter in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nathan Groves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nathan Groves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Ritter in the 37th minute of play. If Joesph Sanchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 minutes, Connor Beach mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sawmills and the St Paul Trojans players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Connor Beach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, St Paul Trojans's Shawn Whaley tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Jack Ritter made the kick off in the second half. Roosevelt Tran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Brendon Solis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilbert Dobson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendon Solis having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Sawmills's goalkeeper Nathan Groves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Don Nickerson. In the 57th match minute, St Paul Trojans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanner Pittman to maneuver through the defense. If Jack Ritter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nathan Groves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Ritter in the 65th minute of the match. Sawmills's Nathan Groves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Sawmills from getting a goal against them. Nathan Groves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Ritter in the 74th minute of play. When Jack Ritter came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the St Paul Trojans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jack Ritter couldn't finish the play. Jack Ritter was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. St Paul Trojans's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 83rd minute Jack Ritter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathan Groves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shelton Macias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Don Nickerson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
