Spectators: 6869 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 100) East Falmouth's Curt Camacho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. East Falmouth's Timmy Guy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save East Falmouth from getting a goal against them. FC Barcelona's Rusty Collins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Saenz in the 6th minute of play. Armando Keenan hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Rusty Collins didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when East Falmouth's Ronald Saenz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Curt Camacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rusty Collins having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Curt Camacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rusty Collins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes FC Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Weston Donaldson. Peter Pruett succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 25th playminute. Rusty Collins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronald Saenz's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Weston Donaldson charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Weston Donaldson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 34 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's Peter Pruett sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timmy Guy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Peter Pruett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Peter Pruett succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 39th playminute. 43 minutes into the match, Ronald Saenz notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC Barcelona's Rusty Collins. Rusty Collins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Markus Huber to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Noel Watts mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Barcelona and the East Falmouth players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of East Falmouth booed when FC Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Watts didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute Markus Huber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timmy Guy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Ronald Saenz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 58 minutes, Curt Camacho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the East Falmouth and the FC Barcelona players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Barcelona booed when East Falmouth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Curt Camacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Barcelona's Wyatt Metz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for East Falmouth. Peter Pruett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FC Barcelona booed when East Falmouth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Curt Camacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Ronald Saenz managed to get in a good position for a shot. East Falmouth's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronald Saenz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rusty Collins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Timmy Guy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Huber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Pruett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timmy Guy having to interfere. After having played for 92 minutes, Markus Huber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Barcelona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Markus Huber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Pruett in the 94th minute of play forced East Falmouth's goalkeeper Timmy Guy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that FC Barcelona were the better team. FC Barcelona's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
