Woodland Hills FC were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after FC Barcelona's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marvin MacFarland took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Markus Huber in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otto Ragsdale saved Woodland Hills FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carl Carrier got free with Rusty Collins in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Markus Huber during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th minute, Markus Huber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Houser was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A beautiful save bye FC Barcelona's goalie prevented a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Markus Huber was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Markus Huber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Ragsdale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Carrier came free, but Rusty Collins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Woodland Hills FC's Marvin MacFarland to fire away a dangerous shot which Rusty Collins despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Andre Tabor charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andre Tabor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Barcelona booed when Woodland Hills FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Tabor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, FC Barcelona's Peter Pruett dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. In the 71stth minute of the game Jose Houser who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Barcelona's Rusty Collins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th minute, Armando Keenan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marvin MacFarland succeeded in the game's 77th minute to get real power on a long shot . FC Barcelona's Rusty Collins hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 2-1! FC Barcelona's Rusty Collins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Carrier in the 93rd minute of play. Peter Pruett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Ragsdale having to interfere. Woodland Hills FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
