He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Carl Carrier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Carl Carrier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Woodland Hills FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Leroy Wheeler was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marvin MacFarland. When Jose Houser came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Woodland Hills FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Houser couldn't finish the play. Josiah Beyer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Otto Ragsdale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. LV Toros FC's Josiah Beyer got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Otto Ragsdale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Montgomery in the 31st minute of play. Carl Carrier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leroy Wheeler having to interfere. Leroy Wheeler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Houser, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Woodland Hills FC's Jose Houser sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leroy Wheeler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, LV Toros FC's Leroy Wheeler got control of the ball when Carl Carrier tried to sneak it across the goal line.

In the 83rd minute, Josiah Beyer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Otto Ragsdale was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Jose Houser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Yoshioka hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. LV Toros FC's Leroy Wheeler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Houser in the 88th minute of play. Angelo Montgomery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Ragsdale having to interfere. Ian Dickinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leroy Wheeler having to interfere. There was no doubt that Woodland Hills FC were the better team. Woodland Hills FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
