Spectators: 7742 (Terracing: 5808, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rick Lewis started the match with the kick off. When Sid Lester fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Centurions FC's protests and gave Sid Lester a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Sid Lester hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FLORIDA FC's Damon Klein got a free kick in the 10th minute. Juan Cates received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Von Jewell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute Sid Lester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Von Jewell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th match minute, FLORIDA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damon Klein to maneuver through the defense. Lázaro Criston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rick Lewis in the 22nd minute of the match. During the 22nd minute of the match Sid Lester completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sid Lester a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 24 minutes into the match, Kurtis Thomason notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Centurions FC's Lázaro Criston. Lázaro Criston was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Sawyer in the 29th minute of play forced FLORIDA FC's goalkeeper Von Jewell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Centurions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rick Lewis came free, but Lázaro Criston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Kurt Sawyer came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Centurions FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kurt Sawyer couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Juan Cates managed to get in a good position for a shot. Centurions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Cates was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Von Jewell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Von Jewell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Sawyer's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Von Jewell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Cates, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kurt Sawyer to strike the kick off in the second half. FLORIDA FC's Von Jewell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Sawyer in the 55th minute of play. Juan Cates might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Von Jewell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Cates ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56th minute, Centurions FC's Kurt Sawyer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in FLORIDA FC's zone, Kurt Sawyer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Von Jewell came out of the goal and Kurt Sawyer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind FLORIDA FC's goalkeeper Von Jewell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damon Klein in the 62nd minute of play forced Centurions FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Criston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Will Sharpe charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Will Sharpe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes Centurions FC got a freekick which was hit by Will Sharpe. The supporters of Centurions FC booed when FLORIDA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wally Coats didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute Kurt Sawyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Von Jewell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Cates recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute, FLORIDA FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Juan Cates fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 77 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Centurions FC's Juan Cates fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Centurions FC's Juan Cates got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kurtis Thomason charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kurtis Thomason the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 85 minutes into the match, Centurions FC's Juan Cates sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Von Jewell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Von Jewell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Cates in the 87th minute of the match. Von Jewell came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Centurions FC's Will Sharpe. But to his dismay, Will Sharpe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When the final whistle sounded Centurions FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FLORIDA FC.
