Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Luther Rowland made the kick off and thus started the match. Nathaniel Broussard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luther Rowland in the 4th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Leroy Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, ShoTek UTD's Leroy Daugherty sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nathaniel Broussard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leroy Daugherty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Nathaniel Broussard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Newburyport FC's zone, Luther Rowland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nathaniel Broussard came out of the goal and Luther Rowland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 24 minutes of play Newburyport FC's Leroy Andrade was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Nathaniel Broussard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luther Rowland in the 27th minute of play. Leroy Daugherty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Nathaniel Broussard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Newburyport FC's Richie French got a free kick in the 31st minute. Richie French charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richie French the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 33 played minutes Newburyport FC got a freekick which was hit by Richie French. Nathaniel Broussard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leroy Daugherty in the 36th minute of play. If Leroy Daugherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Richie French came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Newburyport FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richie French couldn't finish the play. Derick Moon made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Scot Pope sent off a good shot on target. Richie French struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Derick Moon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newburyport FC. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richie French stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nathaniel Broussard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leroy Daugherty in the 52nd minute. Nathaniel Broussard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luther Rowland in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Newburyport FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berry Vaughan to maneuver through the defense. Leroy Daugherty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathaniel Broussard having to interfere. Scot Pope recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Richie French fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derick Moon having to interfere. ShoTek UTD's Derick Moon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richie French in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to ShoTek UTD getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Luther Rowland hit a great ball. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Newburyport FC's goalkeeper Nathaniel Broussard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Richie French hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luther Rowland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathaniel Broussard having to interfere. Derick Moon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richie French, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 92nd match minute, ShoTek UTD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garrett Gann to maneuver through the defense. Scot Pope recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Despite being the better team, Newburyport FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
