Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kasey Blake made the kick off and thus started the match. Ricardo Shannon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney Maxwell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kasey Blake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blake Oakley in the 11th minute of play forced Lake Mohawk's goalkeeper Dane Varner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Blake Oakley made a precise shot to the right of Dane Varner. Lake Mohawk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Lake Mohawk's Dane Varner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blake Oakley in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute Blake Oakley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dane Varner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, SL FIRES's goal looked a bit too open when Cobi Barajas came free, but Ricardo Shannon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sydney Maxwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Shannon having to interfere. If Kasey Blake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Sydney Maxwell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Shannon was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Kasey Blake recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 66 minutes, Cameron Harman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SL FIRES and the Lake Mohawk players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasey Blake in the 76th minute of play forced Lake Mohawk's goalkeeper Dane Varner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hank Hager in the 86th minute of play forced SL FIRES's goalkeeper Ricardo Shannon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute of the match Zackary Ybarra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Shannon skillfully saved the ball. Kasey Blake fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dane Varner having to interfere. Ricardo Shannon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hank Hager in the 95th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lake Mohawk's Edmundo Madden got a free kick in the 98th minute. The SL FIRES players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
