Emilio Justice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie Aquino having to interfere. After 9 played minutes, REFTS's Phillip Abrams shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Robbie Aquino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in REFTS reached it. Robbie Aquino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryan Dickinson in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, RED Mountain Resort was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Winfred Kenny to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, REFTS's Jermaine Quintero broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Taylor London in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robbie Aquino saved RED Mountain Resort from getting behind. Jerry Madison's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alec Mann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Taylor London sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, REFTS's Joshua Valencia got a free kick in the 31st minute. Brant Masters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joshua Valencia got his second yellow card in the match during the 35th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Joshua Valencia hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When Brant Masters came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the RED Mountain Resort fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brant Masters couldn't finish the play. Taylor London sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jerry Madison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Winfred Kenny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Alec Mann made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Taylor London made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Jerry Madison notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of REFTS's Alec Mann. Alec Mann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brant Masters in the 65th minute of play forced REFTS's goalkeeper Alec Mann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brant Masters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alec Mann having to interfere. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind REFTS's goalkeeper Alec Mann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. RED Mountain Resort's Jerry Madison got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, REFTS's Emilio Justice got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 76th minute Brant Masters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alec Mann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. REFTS's Alec Mann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Winfred Kenny in the 80th minute of play. Alec Mann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Madison in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, RED Mountain Resort's Tim Addison got a free kick in the 88th minute. Brant Masters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 played minutes RED Mountain Resort got a freekick which was hit by Tom Kyle. RED Mountain Resort's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
