Spectators: 6761 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 0) Keith Steward started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bennett Billings stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Keith Steward's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Stars's goalkeeper Bennett Billings, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 9 minutes into the game, Gerald Heller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Garrett Horne was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot by King Altman from long distance, 13 minutes into the match, got Bennett Billings's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 15 minutes into the match, Black Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Keith Steward came free, but Bennett Billings reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. East Moriches AFC's Lance Crowe got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 22 minutes, Lance Crowe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. East Moriches AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lance Crowe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bronson Barrett fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Stars's protests and gave Bronson Barrett a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Bronson Barrett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Titus Abbott managed to get in a good position for a shot. East Moriches AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Titus Abbott was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bennett Billings breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bennett Billings showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keith Steward, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Lance Crowe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Bennett Billings was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Titus Abbott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Black Stars's Bennett Billings got control of the ball when Lance Crowe tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Keith Steward had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Gerald Heller made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Black Stars booed when East Moriches AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Titus Abbott didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerald Heller in the 53rd minute of play forced East Moriches AFC's goalkeeper Garrett Horne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bennett Billings took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keith Steward, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bronson Barrett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Garrett Horne made a huge save. Garrett Horne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Trevor Wills in the 61st minute. Black Stars's Bennett Billings played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lance Crowe in the 64th minute of play. Garrett Horne made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Trevor Wills sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute Lance Crowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bennett Billings saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Trevor Wills got free with Garrett Horne in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Garrett Horne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bronson Barrett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lee Gregory hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Lee Gregory could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Garrett Horne made a huge save. If Lance Crowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bennett Billings showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lance Crowe in the 91st minute of the match. East Moriches AFC's Keith Steward got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
