Spectators: 7775 (Terracing: 5832, Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 155) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Keith Steward got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Lindenhurst Hurricanes's goal looked a bit too open when Lance Crowe came free, but Tracy Ingram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Lance Crowe managed to get in a good position for a shot. East Moriches AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lance Crowe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tracy Ingram breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes into the match, Lindenhurst Hurricanes's goal looked a bit too open when Keith Steward came free, but Tracy Ingram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lindenhurst Hurricanes's zone, Lance Crowe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tracy Ingram came out of the goal and Lance Crowe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute Rey Uhl suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerard Owen during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. East Moriches AFC's Ramiro Herron was substituted for Rey Uhl. In the 15th match minute, Lindenhurst Hurricanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerard Owen to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes Lindenhurst Hurricanes got a freekick which was hit by Gerard Byrne. In the 22nd match minute, East Moriches AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keith Steward to maneuver through the defense. Ferdinand Winston's late challenge caught a East Moriches AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdinand Winston helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Ferdinand Winston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Lance Crowe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lance Crowe in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tracy Ingram saved Lindenhurst Hurricanes from getting behind. Keith Steward struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Tracy Ingram didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for East Moriches AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lance Crowe in the 33rd minute of play forced Lindenhurst Hurricanes's goalkeeper Tracy Ingram to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute of the match, Marcos Mullins tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Garrett Horne saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alfonzo Parish could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Garrett Horne made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Keith Steward in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tracy Ingram prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lindenhurst Hurricanes's Tracy Ingram played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keith Steward in the 43rd minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Mitch Murry kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Garrett Horne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Burns, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Lindenhurst Hurricanes's goalkeeper Tracy Ingram had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lance Crowe. If Lance Crowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Mullins hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Lance Crowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tracy Ingram showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keith Steward, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Garrett Horne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Mullins in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Mullins in the 81st minute of play forced East Moriches AFC's goalkeeper Garrett Horne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garrett Horne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonzo Parish in the 86th minute of the match. After 89 minutes of play, Lindenhurst Hurricanes's Renato Burns made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Garrett Horne was left in no man's land by his defense there! Garrett Horne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonzo Parish in the 93rd minute of play. East Moriches AFC's Lance Crowe got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lindenhurst Hurricanes's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
