RedArmyFC's Bronson Melton shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 5th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Duncan Miner but with some difficulty. Young Bustamante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cedric Puckett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the game, RedArmyFC's Hugh Chen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Duncan Miner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Hugh Chen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Duncan Miner made a huge save. Young Bustamante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daren Farr read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. If Young Bustamante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cedric Puckett in the 28th minute of play forced RedArmyFC's goalkeeper Daren Farr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to RedArmyFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ari Hinton hit a great ball. Young Bustamante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Daren Farr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 minutes of play, Port Carbon FC's Cedric Puckett made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daren Farr was left in no man's land by his defense there! Duncan Miner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Bledsoe, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Hugh Chen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Duncan Miner made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Bledsoe in the 37th minute of play forced Port Carbon FC's goalkeeper Duncan Miner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Edgar Bledsoe fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Duncan Miner, passed just outside the right post. Duncan Miner was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Edgar Bledsoe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edgar Bledsoe really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. A collision led to RedArmyFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ari Hinton hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Markus Hester hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Edgar Bledsoe scored 3-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Duncan Miner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Duncan Miner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugh Chen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Bledsoe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Miner having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Cedric Puckett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daren Farr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daren Farr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cedric Puckett in the 76th minute of play. Hugh Chen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Miner having to interfere. Daren Farr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cedric Puckett in the 85th minute of the match. The supporters of RedArmyFC booed when Port Carbon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Markus Hester didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Bledsoe struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Duncan Miner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RedArmyFC. Marvin Tracy kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The RedArmyFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Port Carbon FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
