Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Willis Weaver got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Green Victory FC's zone, Freddy Thomason stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xavier Newsome came out of the goal and Freddy Thomason tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute Rene Stroud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavier Newsome saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Stroud took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xavier Newsome. Xavier Newsome dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Xavier Newsome came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Nicollet FC's Freddy Thomason. But to his dismay, Freddy Thomason quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 25th minute, Jeremy Calloway hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Willis Weaver made a precise shot to the right of Eusebio Ruff. Nicollet FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Xavier Newsome made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Thomason in the 31st minute of play. Wilson Sims kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Jonah Hare might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eusebio Ruff. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonah Hare ran back to his position shaking his head. If Freddy Thomason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Stroud in the 45th minute of play forced Green Victory FC's goalkeeper Xavier Newsome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xavier Newsome made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Stroud in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Freddy Thomason to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicollet FC's Eusebio Ruff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willis Weaver in the 52nd minute of play. Rene Stroud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Xavier Newsome tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ray Goodrich hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Freddy Thomason received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Eusebio Ruff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willis Weaver in the 72nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Xavier Newsome successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Xavier Newsome made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Stroud in the 78th minute. With a little luck, Green Victory FC's Xavier Newsome got control of the ball when Rene Stroud tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bruce Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Eusebio Ruff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rene Stroud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Quinton Grubb's late challenge caught a Green Victory FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quinton Grubb helped the player get up and apologised. Quinton Grubb kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Willis Weaver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebio Ruff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Willis Weaver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
